These events are very relaxed in nature and intended to give you a place to go for a Sunday afternoon flight. 21    TERRE HAUTE -- Lycoming Thunderbolt Engine Presentation by Jeff Schans - http://www.eaa83.org, Terre Haute Hulman Field (KHUF)  Wednesday, July 21st, at 7:30 pm at the Vintage Wings hangar (Jordan's hangar on the north ramp) at HUF - a special presentation by Jeff Schans, Thunderbolt Manager for Lycoming Engines. Jeff is on his way to OSH and is stopping in to visit us on his way. First he will give us the history of Lycoming engines, and then talk about Thunderbolt engines for your custom application. His presentation will last about an hour with questions to follow. Jeff is an aviation veteran, starting his career as a C-130 powerplant mechanic in the US Marines. He then earned a degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology and is now an A&P and IA. Jeff joined Lycoming in 06 as a field service tech and moved to Thunderbolt as a Manager for worldwide sales and customer support. He also holds a commercial, multi ticket.
